Coining a phrase

Came up with a phrase I’m particularly proud of today:
Sometimes the river just pulls you along when you only intended to dip your toe in the water.
Pretty much sums up how I get into all the activities I do. Guess I like to either dive in or leave the pool. I tend not to do things half-heartedly.
